Friends,

Happy Earth Day! Get outside and enjoy some time in nature. With April comes Jane Goodall’s birthday, Earth Day and, of course, spring. The days are getting longer and warmer, and the smell of dirt is in the air. The sounds of the birds returning are always a joy. I feel the urge to walk into town, find a bench under a tree in the local park, and write my next batch of MUTTS strips.

And www.the-mutts.com has some great news to share: unveiling our 1% for the Planet non-profit partners. These are the charities we have donated to fulfill our 2021 commitment. We love the work these charities are doing to save animals and the environment. More details on this next month but, for now, these charities are:

So remember to get out. Bring your dog with you or call your local shelter to see if they have a dog walker program. You won’t regret spending time going for a walk with a happy canine, and you might even find a new best friend.

"To reconnect with nature is key if we want to save the planet." — Dr. Jane Goodall

Mutts is a great comic but your preachy crap belongs in some kind of church. We already know how to live. We don’t need/want your advice.

I have enjoyed Mutts for so long, and have been a big fan of comic art since high school art class, over 40 years ago. I still draw and paint in my spare time. Thank you, Patrick for making the Mutts gang feel like best friends ❤️
