Readers in the Pittsburgh area — and those willing to travel the distance to get there! — are invited to attend Animal Friends’ two-night gala event Black Tie and Tails on September 26-27, 2014. Patrick McDonnell and his wife Karen O’Connell with be guests of honor!
This year’s events will be hosted on Animal Friends’ 80-acre campus which is home to 200 animals in need of good homes. The Friday event will be a party with music, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and auction and more. The following night will include live jazz music, a formal dinner and a “spectacular” action.
